All tourist attractions of the Randstad within reach


LeidenDo you feel like visiting one of the large cities of the Netherlands? Leiden, The Hague, Rotterdam, Haarlem and Amsterdam are quickly and easily reached by car or public transport from Recreatiecentrum De Noordduinen. In addition to hours of shopping fun, these cities also offer various attractions which are worth a visit.

How about Leiden? The place of birth of Rembrandt with its exquisite almshouses, various museums and array of pleasant shops is definitely worth a visit. By car you reach the centre of Leiden in only 15 minutes. Bus 37, with a bus stop in front of the entrance of De Noordduinen, also takes you directly to the city centre. In The Hague you can visit
Madurodam, the Peace Palace or the government buildings. Of course, you can also spend a day sunbathing on the beach of Scheveningen, or strolling along the promenade. In the evening, try your luck at the Casino, or catch a film in the enormous Pathé cinema. By car you can drive to Den Haag within 30 minutes. Rotterdam
In Rotterdam, you can make a round trip through the largest port in Europe, check out the impressive view from the
Euromast, or take the children to Rotterdam Zoo Diergaarde Blijdorp for a fun day out. Rotterdam is easily reached by car: you are in city centre within 45 minutes. From Leiden Central Station you can travel to Rotterdam by train within 30 minutes. Want to know more about Rotterdam? click here.


Amsterdam
It's also worthy to visit Haarlem. You can visit one of the museums like the
Frans Hals Museum, walk along the 'Grote Markt' or sightseeing the Medieval city centre. For more information about Haarlem: click here.

Please do not overlook our capital neither. You can get to Amsterdam by train within 30 minutes from Leiden Central Station and also by car it will take you less than 45 minutes. Visit
